Approche/déproche

Abbreviated forms of  “frais d’approche” and “frais de déproche.” It is allowance (usually 50% of the interpreter daily rate plus per diem) paid to the interpreters if they have to travel from their place of residence (domicile) to a conference location. Each travel day is paid for at agreed upon rate. Another term is: travel day fee. For example, “The Dutch agency was great, they paid “approche/déproche” and on time too.”
