Technician

In conference interpretation: a specially trained audio equipment expert who has been trained in operating simultaneous interpretation equipment. Simultaneous interpretation equipment requires technicians to assemble and operate and is not available from InterStar Translations without them. Technicians assemble and disassemble equipment (see: Set up and strike) and operate it during the event.
