Set up and strike

The process of assembling and disassembling the simultaneous interpretation equipment set. It includes setting up the simultaneous interpretation booth, routing audio cables, installing a PA system and microphones for speakers, interpreter consoles, audio mixers, etc. A flat fee is usually charged for set up and strike.
